If the start-of-the-week blues are getting you down, the horns in the opening of Somewhere Else’s new single ‘Glue’ will put you right back on track. Somewhere Else are a producer duo made up of Grammy-winning producer Illangelo and songwriter Billy Walsh, who together are responsible for hits from The Weeknd, Alicia Keys and Post Malone. Now that they’ve joined forces, the pair released their debut single ‘Move Together’ featuring Majid Jordan, and are now back with a double release - ‘Glue’ and ‘All The Way’. Like with ‘Move Together’, ‘Glue’ is centered around a feature, this time from pop/R&B singer RAYE who came third on the BBC Soundpoll 2017. The result is a boppy 2-step inspired number featuring the snazziest of horn parts and the sultry refrain ‘and now I’m broken will you be my glue?’. –HM
